Cibinetide

What it is
Cibinetide is an 11-amino-acid copy of a short patch of erythropoietin, the hormone that drives red-cell production. Erythropoietin also protects injured tissue, and this copy was built to do that second job only, leaving red-cell production alone. This separation is its entire design.
How it works
The two jobs split at the receptor. Red-cell production runs through one receptor pair; tissue protection runs through a different complex. Cibinetide was shaped to bind only the tissue-protection route. In animals it protected kidney, retina, brain, gut, and heart tissue and cut a type of abnormal pain, all without thickening the blood with red cells.

The idea is that by tickling repair pathways rather than ordering one single thing, it helps tendons, ligaments, and gut lining recover speedier than they would on their own.
Dosing reference: Common community dosing is a few hundred micrograms a day, usually injected near the site or into belly fat. There is no approved human dose.
