GHK-Cu is a three-amino-acid chain — glycine, histidine, lysine — carrying one copper ion. It occurs naturally in your blood and declines with age, from roughly 200 ng/mL at 20 to about 80 at 60. It is regulated as a cosmetic ingredient, not a drug, and it's in hundreds of serums.
How it works
It does two jobs in one tiny molecule. It carries copper to enzymes that cross-link collagen, and it sends signals that shift gene expression toward repair. Its dramatic party trick, discovered in 2013: add young plasma to old cells and they start behaving young — the active factor turns out to be this tripeptide.
