Sermorelin + GHRP-2 Blend

Mixed evidence
Growth hormone / muscle

The early growth-hormone stack — the receptor logic is textbook, but one of its two halves is the dated version.

What it is

This is an older pairing in the growth-hormone world: sermorelin, a GHRH analog that once held FDA approval, combined with GHRP-2, a non-selective growth-hormone releaser. It predates the more common modern stacks. Neither component is approved for this use today.

How it works

Growth hormone release depends on two simultaneous signals to the pituitary: a GHRH signal and a ghrelin-like signal. Sermorelin delivers the first; GHRP-2 delivers the second. Together they produce a bigger pulse than either alone. The catch is that GHRP-2's receptor also raises cortisol, prolactin, and appetite.

What people report

  • Sermorelin carries the only FDA-approval pedigree in the GHRH class
  • The GHRH-plus-GHRP synergy is real and well-documented
  • GHRP-2 produces a robust growth-hormone response and is inexpensive
  • The hunger it causes is even a feature for people trying to gain mass

Typical use

Run as a daily or repeated GH stimulation protocol. No fixed-dose trial exists for the blend.

Dosing reference

Each component has reference doses from its own literature, but no validated blend dose exists. Verify against primary sources.

Watch for

GHRP-2 is the non-selective releaser: it raises cortisol and prolactin alongside growth hormone. A newer, selective option delivers the same core signal without that baggage, which is why most stacks moved on.
