What it is
Sermorelin is the first 29 amino acids of human GHRH, the shortest piece that fully binds the GHRH receptor. It was FDA-approved for pediatric growth-hormone deficiency, then pulled from the market by its maker for commercial reasons, not safety. Today it lives mainly through compounding pharmacies.
How it works
It binds the GHRH receptor on the pituitary and fires a single, natural pulse of growth hormone. Because the response is brief and the body's normal brakes still work, it is gentler and less 'flattening' to the hormone axis than giving growth hormone directly.
