What it is
This molecule belongs to a family scientists call exercise mimetics. They are built to switch on some of the same cellular programs that exercise does, without you moving a muscle. SLU-PP-915 is the newer, more drug-like member of that family, and its big claim is that it works by mouth. The earlier version could only be injected.
How it works
Cells have little power plants called mitochondria, and a set of buttons called estrogen-related receptors (ERRs) helps control how fast they run. This molecule presses those buttons. That nudges cells to make more mitochondria, burn more fat, and fire up the machinery exercise normally triggers. Your body already has these receptors; the molecule just turns up their activity.
